Energia Verde runs its own farming business over several thousands hectares in the Danube Plain (Counties of Olt and Teleorman). The farm produces most of the raw materials that is needed for our biodiesel production facility and biomass cogeneration plant.
Energia Verde’s farm is equipped with modern agricultural equipment (Claas, Amazone, Lemken) and is run according to the best agronomic practices.
The main crops are:
rapeseed (autumn and spring varieties)
sunflower
wheat
barley
